Fall Flavor Festival - October 1 & 2, 2016
Come Welcome Fall
Enjoy all the flavors of fall at the "Fall Flavor Festival" at Staehly Farm & Winery.
Not all vendors will be on site both days - Please note the day of attendance to avoid disappointment.
The first weekend of October is filled with activities all around East Haddam.
Take a scenic drive along Route 82 to Gillette Castle to see the changing leaves of the CT River Valley
and then head up to Devil's Hopyard to see the falls in autumn.
In between, enjoy a delicious lunch with activities for the kids too at Staehly Farm & Winery.
Wine Tasting (October 1st & 2nd)
Fall is the perfect season for Apple Wine! Enjoy a not-too-sweet blend of
Staehly Farms' own Honey Crisp, McIntosh, and Delicious apples in
four different apple wines. A full flight of wines (8) is availble for $10, or try
a smaller selection (6) for $7.

Pumpkin Patch & Harvest Barn (October 1st & 2nd)
Hundreds of pumpkins available to choose from in addition to special gourds.
After picking our your special pumpkin, stop by our farm market harvest barn,
which is chock full of fall treats like kettle corn, pumpkin butter,
locally-made Pumpkin Spice biscotti,
and of course everyone's favorite apple cider donuts.

Kids Hay Maze (October 1st & 2nd)
The free kids maze is open from 10 to 6 both days.
Enjoy a not-so-scary haymaze that winds through the Staehly Farms greenhouse.
Hidden passages, narrow corridors, and Halloween surprised make this 300-foot-long
path fun for kids eight and under, although everyone is welcome.
We have a strict "No Beverages" policy for our hay maze, to help keep it family-friendly.

Rough House Food Truck (10/1) - Funky versions of traditional American cuisine

Beaver Brook Farm (10/2) - Handcrafted local cheese from Old Lyme
Big Nanny's Soft Biscotti (10/1&2) - Soft, hand crafted biscotti in many flavors
